      These are excellent and very highly recommended. Leave your 18650 batteries (not supplied with item) in it and recharge using a standard 5v 2amp phone charger, single light is red when charging then turns blue when charged. Also has a button that you press for charge level as you can see in the pictures I was charging (red). Then pressed the button and its showing fully charged. Both button top and flat top 18650 batteries do fit, button top are a tight fit. Use decent quality batteries and you'll get great goggle time from this, great value and much better than a lipo as lithium iron batteries are not so sensitive to being discharged. Very pleased with this purchase. UK delivery took from Order 19 July 21 to Delivered 27 July 21, all good!

      Dissasembling: Under the Stickytape Product Wrap there're 4 mini philips screws + one inox 10x2mm Battery door shaft..

      Well after Eachine EV100 supplied OEM Battery failed to recharge anymore, i decided to go My way.. See photos of PCB, and Internals.. I ordered the EV200 18650 Power Bank instead of EV100 with aditional micro JST plug for DVR.. (EV100 has external DVR recorder powered by the same battery using another connector).. Missing connector was essential, so i soldered one..

        You can mod the EV800D by removing the built-in battery and installing a barrel connector instead. Tutorials can be found on YT. You do not only get rid of the unuseable internal battery (in terms of battery life) but also its weight. Makes your goggles more comfortable to wear.

        Q: How long can I expect to use my goggles before putting in fresh batteries or recharging the 18650s?

        As already mentioned it depends upon the mAh of the batteries. I saw 9 hours quoted, I hope he does get that, but also realise that the goggles and their features also affect it, I get way less than 9 hours on 3400mAh batteries - but I'm using diversity not single receiver goggles and am recording every time I fly and often continually between flights, so this will reduce my time. I believe I get around 3 to 3.5 hours continuous use, I could stretch it out but I prefer to swap batteries when I see them onscreen that they are just above 7 volts, way better to swap early than have goggles cut off, for the batteries and for my stress, not nice when your goggles go off!

        I’ve been using it without the circuit protection and it works fine. I do however recommend that you use the batteries without the positive bump as it’s a tight fit.

        Partly yes but not satisfactorily. DJI requires voltage range of 7.4-17.6 V, preferably 4S lithium cells. Since this case is just for 2 cells, these will discharge quite soon below 7.4V.

        If you have been using a battery with the same connector as this battery holder to power your goggles and the voltage is displayed when using that battery then yes it will displayed when using this battery holder. Its the goggles that sense the voltage being input from an external battery or battery holder and then display it on screen.
