      Tested the motor in our 'AirTrainer' which worked out fine
      Used a 12x8 prop on 4S/4000mAh Lipo. Full power pull is close to 55amps.
      As this is a 'trainer' the full power is seldom used, only for take off and some large loopings or stall turns.
      After 10 minutes flight the motor is just cold.
      Just a good motor for good price

      Good motor, but who designed the mounting bracket so that the screws that go into the firewall are blocked by the body of the motor? Ridiculous.

        Most BL motors can spin in either direction by changing any 2 of the 3 wires powering it. But if the motor spins the same direction as the prop nut, the nut will eventually spin itself off the prop shaft unless you use a Nyloc nut or secure the nut after it's on so that it cannot move unless you remove the wire or the clevis pin. Some use a second nut over the first but a liquid like Locktite should be used in that case.

        I use it on a 1,8m Piper Cub with 12x8 prop and on a 1,6m CAP232 with a 13x6 prop. Both above 2kg, 80A Skywalker ESC and 4S 4000 lipo.

        Q: hi I bought two of these engines a few months ago and the first one was super put it on a model of 1400 mm Zero and pull it from the hairs 4s and 80apm esc with propeller 13x8 two blades, So after a while I took the second out of the box and mounted it on a p40 of the same size and I HAD A PROBLEMA BRIBRACION THE ADPATADOR WAS LIGHTLY TORCID, WHICH NOW THE ENGINE IS INSERVIBLE FOR VIBRATION. ...!
