      This was a fun summer project and a great model regarding price and the metal upgrade parts and motor. I bought this to my daughter and we buildt it togheter in her vacation, i also bought a HW 1060 brushed esc, might be overkill but the model is worth it. Only hickup is that the metal gears both in front and back hub/diff dosent go to well together
      just put together like the manual shows without adding some shim to the lid covering them, i used dobbelsided tape here and it solved it, got the mesh right, this is defently a model i would consider buying again

      Excellent, great value for money. Great quality body moulding and other parts. Don't forget to source your batteries and radio gear though. These are really capable trail trucks straight out of the box and can be made to look great and perform brilliantly with some simple mods.

        Q: explain metal edition.

        90% of the parts are metal. Including the front and rear axels, both drive shafts are metal, the bevel “ ring and pinion gears in the differential are brass, the transmission is metal, the suspension has metal swing arms with brass “ ball” attaching mounts. This kit ALSO INCLUDES BALL BEARINGS ! Included a brass gear front servo. Basically the body and interior are plastic. Uses “ HIGH END” r c parts for a hobby grade vehicle. DOES NOT INCLUDE: Radio, Speed controller and light kit. And battery. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR AN ENTRY LEVEL CAR KIT. BTW, the C24 BODY WILL NOT fit this chassis. But the drive train WILL fit. I.e. axles, drive shafts, shocks..

        Inthis kit you get metal axle housings, metal chassis, metal drivetrain including metal gears for transmission and differentials. You do get the motor (370 I believe, or at leasts thats what I got in mine). The links are metal with plastic ends. Ball joints are metal. Otherwise I belive they are the same between the plastic and metal kits.
